INSURANCE
QUESTIONS

Does anyone know, if it is found that the appraisers knowingly
appraise art work that is know to be fake, forged, or misrepresented. is the
appraiser responsible for the eroneous appraisal and can the customer sue the
appraiser? Does Errors and Ommissions coverage provide the appraiser any
protections? Any insurance experts out there that could provide insight ?

Okay, what is the deal with parkwest insurance value
prices? Are their any insurance companies out there that care to comment with
respect to having to pay a claim based on the prices parkwest states? On the
record or off email me your
experience

I spoke to my contact at the gallery. they stated
"what type of insurance company would cover parkwest's inventory. They've
got a sprinker system right over a lot of their inventory in the basement. That
thing goes off and the 10's of thousands of prints are damaged, there doesn't
even need to be a fire. the sprinler heads are with in inches of the
stacks."
I too am curious, that insurance must be expensive,
especially if it has to be covered for the Parkwest Replacement Price. I myself
would have thought that they would have a halon or Ansul product used to
protect other high value delicate artwork.
