this is great folks parkwests' newest
appraiser Caroline Ashleigh a self proclaimed authority of
fabric (why is she appraising prints al?) back in 2003 created
a document for the
Michigan Bar Journal entitled ' Using "Expert" Art
Appraiser - what a lawyers need to know' . I wonder of any of parkwest
appraisers (al baby, mini marc scaglione, bill smith, morris shapiro, albert
molina, bernard ewell or even ms ashleigh herself) can say that they can meet
these qualification. What do you think
- Well, louis postel (louie) has a little buzz on his
artsmart website blog regarding the infamous Dali expert bernard ewell .. funny
thing is he passes off the following line:
Thanks Bernard Ewell and the American
Society of Appraisers for so much painstaking work. The Picassos may be on
paper but their authenticity is like granite.
- Louie, excuse me, but when did ewell become a Picasso
expert? Are you trying to pass ewell off as a picasso expert now? I thought he
was a Dali dude? Is he going to be revisiting parkwest's picasso collection to
authenticate that too? Was this a error on your part, did you mean Dali?
- Well, looks like there is some local coverage.
Michigan Public Radio has a posting regarding the gallery and the potential for
class action lawsuits.

-
- Law.Com releases an article regarding the Florida and

- Ooops, I seem to have hit a nerve !! Looks like there
is now buzz about my site. Check out Ethel W.s complaint about my lowly little
site
was here but you can see it
here from an internet cacheWell she did
(aka postel/guerilla girlz) but they deleted their content .. boo hoo.
It seems Ethel is reitterating a lot of what i've seen on other parkwest
support sites. Anyway, she mentioned my site, so i'll post the link. Ethel,
hate to inform you. I didn't talk to the
New York Times regarding their article.
